The Big Bang Theory viewers have come to await outlandish cameos from celebrities during the 12 seasons the comedy aired.

Nonetheless, now that the show is over, an awkward gaffe has been found about one particular guest star.

If you cast your minds all the way dorsum to flavor ii, episode vii, you lot'll think Howard Wolowitz and Raj Koothrappali finding their way to the America's Adjacent Top Model house.

In a slightly creepy move – well, creepier than finding the exact location of the house by using satellites – they knocked on the door, and were greeted by Analeigh Tipton and Samantha Potter, who took part in wheel 11 of the modelling competition.

The scientists pretended they were there to fix the cablevision, and got welcomed into the business firm – with the whole matter never mentioned again.

Side annotation: nosotros have SO many questions nigh what exactly went down that day…

Only it seems Howard and Raj forgot the it even happened a few years later, as they came face-to-face with Analeigh once over again, in flavor nine, and didn't even mention it.

She popped support during the fourth dimension Sheldon and Amy broke up for a few episodes, and Amy started dating David Gibbs (Stephen Merchant).

Howard and Raj (who else?) helped Shelly pattern a testing questionnaire to find a new girlfriend, with his potential suitor having to jump through all kinds of hoops – and translate phrases to Klingon and Sanskrit – to get a date.

And the model was the merely one who managed to solve the puzzles, knocking on his door to claim her 'prize'.

It's a little understandable if they didn't quite recognise her at first, as she introduced herself every bit 'Vanessa'.

But fifty-fifty and then, guys, y'all traced the outline of her home from a Telly screen and secretly used a satellite to notice exactly where she lived, and yous don't fifty-fifty say hi?

Unfortunately for Analeigh/Vanessa, she didn't quite manage to become there in the fourth dimension limit, which resulted in Sheldon shutting the door in her face.

Absolutely not a bazinga.

Simply information technology all worked out well for our favourite physicist, who got back together with Amy soon after.
